The most important game in the last round took place in Pisek between second rankedSrsni Pisek (21-12) and sixth ranked Usti n/Labem Srsni Pisek was defeated by Usti n/Labem in a tough game at home 92-97 . Usti n/Labem made 25-of-31 free shots (80.6 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American forward Lesley Varner Jr (201-1998, college: UTRGV) who had a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds. The other American import guard Kris Martin (194-1997, college: Colorado St., agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 24 points and 5 rebounds (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field). At the other side the best for losing team was swingman Petr Slechta (193-1995) who recorded 25 points and the former international center Martin Svoboda (201-2001) added 15 points and 10 rebounds respectively. Four Usti n/Labem and five Srsni Pisek players scored in double figures. Srsni Pisek's coach Jan Cech rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Usti n/Labem moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Decin. Srsni Pisek at the other side keeps the second position with 12 games lost. They share it with Brno.
